  • Their sourdough baguette is THE BEST. Some days I just couldn’t resist but to take a bite right after I walked out the place.

  • Le Péché Mignon is a hidden gem — part French deli, part café, and entirely delicious. Tucked into a quiet Highbury street, it offers fresh pastries, rich coffee, and a menu that feels both comforting and refined. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or lingering over lunch, the flavours speak for themselves. What makes it special: Freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat — buttery, flaky, and straight from the oven French-style sandwiches — think jambon-beurre, goat cheese with fig, or smoked salmon with dill crème Seasonal salads and quiches — light, elegant, and full of flavour Coffee — smooth, strong, and served with care The vibe is intimate and relaxed — soft music, warm lighting, and shelves lined with wine, cheese, and gourmet treats. Staff are friendly and attentive, happy to chat or let you enjoy your quiet moment.

  • A great small French place. Nice rustic interior with fresh flowers on the table. Very good coffee and really delicious quiche with a quality fresh lettuce and vinaigrette Plenty of French and some Italian food to buy. Stylish music and not too loud. Kind service and relaxing vibe. They also have a back garden and clean toilet with all supplies. A perfect for a coffee break or brunch. We also bought a sourdough here which looks amazing.

  • Cosy (aka small) local cafe with even smaller add-on deli and fridge of cheese. Food quality is high and they knock out French-inspired classics. Initially I wasn’t convinced - seemed small and the seating didn’t work (one long table plus city courtyard seating) however over time you realise that people “budge up” and you can fit in. The staff are really friendly. Good music too.

  • La Péché Mignon is synonymous with a good coffee or cappuccino. Made with carefully selected blends that create a perfect aroma. The staff is very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxing, very French, with gentle background music—an excellent place to unwind with friends or study on your laptop. You can find plenty of French delicacies and Italian pasta. The rustic tables make the environment even more charming. Highly recommended. The restroom inside is spotless, but unfortunately, it is not suitable for those who need to use a wheelchair. However, the café area is accessible also for the wheelchair and everyone is welcome.

  • Quite simply the best French cafe in London, with croque monsieurs to die for, excellent sausage rolls and mochas using Monmouth coffees, and fabulous produce from the likes of Dusty Knuckle, Navarrico, Maisin Marc, and La Trinquelitinne. I was fortunate to live around the corner from here for many years and I’ll always make the desire to visit when I’m in the neighbourhood.

  • We stopped here for breakfast and had a lovely slice of lemon bread and chocolate croissant. Also their hot chocolate and peppermint tea was yummy. The staff is very friendly and the vibe is relaxed and cozy. Highly recommend if you are wanting to find a nice place for breakfast.

  • I can't begin to explain how awesome Le Peche Mignon is. Ok, I'll try. First, the croissants are a must. They are flaky on the outside and buttery on the inside, and are far better than croissants from the more popular places in central London. Second, the coffee is excellent, whether you are getting a cappuccino or black. Third, the quiches are spectacular - flaky crust and flavourful fillings. Fourth, the croissants...
